With the funding received so far, the organization has recruited four volunteer teachers to supplement teaching staff in the following informal schools beginning 2nd September 2014. Selected schools; Lucy Education Centre- Korogocho, Emmaus Education Centre- Gomongo, Precious Star High School- Jangwani, Glorious friends High school- Mathare, Jambo Toto primary-Korogocho
Volunteer mentors and change makers to hold afternoon sessions beginning 13th August 2014, from (3-5pm) on Wednesdays and Fridays for 250 participating children from all of the partner schools.
Lastly the organization in the month of September will purchase school kits and classroom essentials and establish reading and mentorship clubs in each of the 5 informal schools in the project.
