Succesful Story of Master JERVIN:  – APD Student

Jervin is a child suffering from Spina Bifida, a birth defect that involves the incomplete development of the spinal cord which results in paralysis. Jervin has been studying in APD from the preparatory and is currently studying in the VIth  Std. He has been with the school for seven years now and despite his disability has displayed a great deal of enthusiasm in studying and interacting with his peers.

Since he has shown an interest in music, Jervin is learning how to play the “Tabla” and “Key Board” and enjoys every minute of his music lesson.

When Jervin first joined school he was unable to walk and was restricted to using a wheelchair. However, after undergoing four years of physiotherapy provided here at APD, today Jervin is able to walk with the help of a Rollator. Jervin continues to undergo his therapy regularly and is well on his way to complete independence.
