70 poor widows are living in Kadamalaikundu block of theni district are need support to buy a Sewing machine for self employment, Now, they are working in daily agree cooly and brick champer works.
In our working area, Widows the age group of 23 to 35 are living in vulnerable condition. the live alone with the small children, they are working in Agriculture daily wage, Brick champer works and contract base mill work. they face so many problems in their working place because of the living condition. Working hours is high but wage is very low , they earn Rs.50 to 80/- per day. this income is not enough for their daily bread , House rent, children hospitatlity, food, cloth and children edu.
We are giving free Tailoring and Embroidery Training to these poor widows. We want to give a sewing machine and tool kit to these trained widows to start self employment, they can earn Rs.150/- to Rs.200/- per day it helps to run their family.
the 70 poor widows are coming from 52 villages in Kadamalaikundu-mayiladumparai block, Self employment is gives peaceful situation and they can escap from the tortures and sexual harassments in working place, they can earn sufficient money for live.
