Summary
Pre primary level education will be provided to the poorest children of 4 to 6 years old to develop their mind and behavioral change so that they will grow up as ideal citizen.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
In Bangladesh 80% adult people are less educated. These parents don’t have that sense and ability to send their children in kindergarten school. Here pre school education is only available in private schools and it’s expensive. Poor families’ children start schooling from std-1 in the Govt. School. Many of them can’t adjust with the curriculum set for std-1 and don’t continue education engage them with laborious work. 2400 poor children of age 4-6 yrs of rural areas will be benefited.
How will this project solve this problem?
Trained teachers will teach children one year education curriculum using computer, pocket board, VCD and other attractive teaching materials. Every after two month health checkup will be done. End of the project year a child fair will be arranged
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will reduce the drop out rate of primary education. The children will learn tolerance, cooperation, and receptiveness and grow as physically and mentally healthy children. This project will contribute to achieve the target of EFA and MDG

I have observed noticeable change for the kids of Eakok’s ECD center in the appearance, behavior, knowledge, fitness and mental development process. Parents have become more caring about their kids
