Map of HELPING THE NEEDY The hope of many youths whose parents cannot afford fees for tertiary institutions and universities was renewed,when the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints gave an opportunity to and decided to pay for the youths in tertiary institution and universities. Many youths have managed to attain qualification and are able to earn a living.Many adults,have been talk life skills and can do use the skills to earn a living and provide needs for their families. A Needy Case

Map of A NEEDY CASE My name is Gayle Lucia from a poor family in Shinyalu, Kakamega East District. I lost bother my parents as a result of the deadly disease, Aids. I was forced to stay with my grandparents whose capacity to help me was too unstable. The basic needs including food and education were such a challenge that it took a miracle for me to set foot in High school in 2007.At some point in 2009 it became next to impossible for me to complete my Form Three when by good luck Aphia 2 Western came to our school and picked on a few students to support with school fees, I was one of the chosen beneficiaries. Their support was later terminated when this programme wound only after one and a half years. If i happen to get a sponsor, I can be sure to continue with my college so as to become a teacher and be able to help my younger siblings. Read more.

Girls' With An Inspiration And Humble Hearted

Map of GIRLS' WITH AN INSPIRATION AND HUMBLE HEARTED THE ALUMINI An organisation found by the old girls of the Sacred Heart Mukumu Girls. The organization usually takes a bit of their time once in a year out of their busy schedule to go back to their school and advice the candidates of every year and inspire them. They also help them identify and know the course they would like to pursue. This always give them an opportunity to focus and make right decisions. During the 2011 Golden Jubilee when it was celebrating 50 years students and the girls raised an amount of money. Their money will be used to help the less fortunate students who will be learning in the school but may not be able to raise their school fees. Read more.

The Certificate

Map of THE CERTIFICATE After i finished my 'O' level that is high school education,i had a major problem because i could not be able to collect my form four leaving certificate due to the high accrued school fees. I was even unable to look for jobs because the school could not give me the certificate.As an orphan,i could not afford to get ksh 15,000 to complete the fees so as to receive my certificate. One time while looking for a job with Neema Women Group,i met the director Mary who wanted to know why i had no certificate.I told her my situation and she willingly agreed to help.She paid the fees in two phases and then i got my certificate and to do more she even sponsored my education in college and i just thank God for her.
