Help us find hope and home for over 350 women who are homeless and considered the hardest to house and serve.
More than 73,600 individuals experience homelessness each year in the City of Chicago, 22,800 (31%) of whom are women and 7,300 (10%) of whom are identified as “chronically homeless.” Facing multiple barriers to achieving sustainable housing, women who are chronically homeless are the individuals for whom Deborah’s Place strives to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment that affords them the opportunity to determine their own pathways to healing, growth and change.
Deborah’s Place offers women experiencing chronic homelessness a “permanent supportive housing” model, which combines affordable housing with supportive services, such as case management, health care, and education and employment services.
The permanent supportive housing services Deborah's Place provides is proven to be the most compassionate and cost-effective solution to homelessness.
