The daffodil is a symbol of hope for all cancer patients and survivors and this April, the Singapore Cancer Society celebrates hope through Daffodil Days. All through the month, you can offer support to patients battling cancer, give encouragement to caregivers and remember those who lost the fight to cancer. We depend on public contributions and support to help cancer patients in their fight against cancer.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
1 in 4 in Singapore dies from cancer. There are many people who are affected by cancer.
How will this project solve this problem?
Public Education and Cancer Screening are vital areas to educate the community on early detection. With greater reach to the community, we hope to save more lives. In Home Hospice area, we hope to expand our services and help more terminal stage cancer patients in their final journey. Lastly, we hope to help more cancer patients and survivors, especially those plagued with financial difficulties in their fight against cancer.
