Summary

At least 188 people have died and another 11,500 were injured when a massive earthquake struck Sichuan province on April 20, 2013.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Homes and public buildings have been destroyed. This project will help to rebuild school for those in the effected region, and help them and their families with the necessities to start rebuilding their lives.

How will this project solve this problem?

This project will support two of CYDF's earthquake relief efforts: (1) Building the "Earthquake Relief Hope School" for teenagers so they can return to school as soon as possible; and (2) Providing financial aid for students and their families who are suffering in this crisis.

Potential Long Term Impact

By supporting the school and the students, CYDF will help students and families start to rebuild their lives.
