Summary
On Thursday, November 15th, a terrible cyclone hit Bangladesh, impacting more than 20 of the country's 64 districts. Over 3 million people were affected & need your help to reestablish their lives.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Bangladeshis are famed for managing to endure frequent floods and storms that hit the impoverished and low-lying country -- but this time the situation is desperate. Confirmations to date state that the storm has claimed approximately 3,500 lives, and The Red Crescent believes up to 10,000 people may have perished.
How will this project solve this problem?
Contributions to this fund will be disbursed to organizations with active projects working with vulnerable communities in Bangladesh, including those supporting victims of the cyclone.
