Adam Levner - Executive Director
Adam has worked in the education arena for the last 14 years. He began as a fifth grade teacher, where he saw firsthand the issues confronting educators, parents, and students. He then went to work as a community organizer with Stand for Children, as an education consultant for the Center for Community Change, and as a freelance photographer.
Alison Hanold - Development & Communications Manager
Alison comes to Critical Exposure from the media for social change field. In her previous role, she worked with independent documentary filmmakers at the Center for Social Media. She is also on the board of Women in Film and Video DC, where she chairs the Kids World Film Festival.
Jahi Wise - Education Organizer
Jahi is currently lead education organizer for S.T.E.P. Up DC, a youth organizing collaboration between Critical Exposure and DC Alliance of Youth Advocates (DCAYA). In college he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the creator and host of the Voice Radio Project, a progressive radio program oriented towards African-American college students. He grew up in Prince George's County, MD.
