Respect. Practice. Patience. Teamwork. This is possible every day for our Portland After-School Tennis & Education (PAST&E) scholar athletes because you have joined our PAST&E team of Coach/Tutors, Volunteers and Community supporters.
It is this teamwork that impacts the lives of our PAST&E scholar athletes in the classroom and on the court.
Thank you for your support of our project to Create Scholar Athletes through Tennis & Education. Your gift is already helping at-risk youth from low income families find solid ground and increased confidence in reading, math, life skills, physical fitness and tennis.
Your committment to PAST&E means more scholar athletes like Kassandra, who earned her PAST&E scholarship 4 years ago as a 1st grader, will share in a positive and well structured environment, that prepares youth for the mental, social and physical challenges of middle and high school. By fostering positive relationships between PAST&E coach/tutors, parents, teachers, and volunteers every child knows he or she has a team to support them, cheer them on, pick them up if they falter and challenge them to take the next step.
