Retired Project - Create 120 Jobs in Nigeria

Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives and Respective Donors,

Because of your generous donation and continual support, LI has been able to fund many micro-projects that have changed the lives of both the Bauchi State and Northern Nigeria. We thank you for your recurring contributions to this project and its foundation in the principles of social entrepreneurship. However, at this time, “Create 120 Jobs and 10 new businesses in Nigeria” has been retired. Fortunately, from the immeasurable successes of this project, LI has created a new project, “Create 150 Jobs in two years in Northern Nigeria”. This project is an expansion of our last project. We are extending our regular, two training and programs to a total of four. These programs are as followed. (1) A secondary business education program, in which LI will teach business leaders how to open additional businesses to intensify their influence and social impact in Nigeria. (2) A leadership development program in Bauchi that will target the younger generations to build the foundations of Nigeria’s workforce. (3) A leadership development program for Northern Nigeria, which will provide citizens the opportunity to open up new businesses and help reconstruct the economy of the third-world country. (4) A program for orphans, which will expand LI’s orphan care program through instructing business leaders how influence orphans to develop a family and reach a full-time education.

LI, now, asks for reoccurring donors to please support our new project and its overarching mission. Because of you and your generosity, we have been able to continue our efforts and develop independent profit-generating businesses that serve as models for growth in surrounding communities. Project beneficiaries fill voids in the local economy while improving their families' health, education and financial stability. Previous leaders have sent their brothers, sisters and children to school, helped invest in new businesses within the community, offered new services to community members such as the disabled, establishing infrastructure for the future growth of Nigeria.

Leadership Initiatives will be regularly providing updates and insight into these projects as the month's progress through GlobalGivings reporting program. Of course, at anytime you can request a project update to learn up to date info on how this project is progressing.

Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate or have new ideas on how to develop our programs please contact me at mbailly@leadershipinitiatives.org. Your hard work and intelligence is the greatest gift we could receive as we attempt to create a better world.

Thank you once again from the bottom of everyone's heart here at Leadership Initiatives. If you would ever like to speak to our staff on the ground, a project leader, one of our Business Alliance student participants, we would love to set up a Skype chat for you, so you can personally see the change you are creating.

Wishing you, your family and your friends the absolute best!

Sincerely,

Marshall

Thank You For An Amazing 2012!!!!!

Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Supporter and Donor,

Thank you so much for your generous donation to Leadership Initiatives.

In the past year, Leadership Initiatives has instigated multiple programs, classes, and Microprojects that are making a difference in Nigeria. Leadership Initiatives started 9 businesses and 10 new projects. The businesses range from mechanics/car repair to irrigation farming.  There is also a wide variation of projects including bead making and carpentry; the goal is to improve all aspects of the Nigerian community and Leadership Initiatives has received a tremendous amount of support as we look for new ways to improve and further develop growing communities.

In addition to starting a wide variety of businesses and projects, Leadership Initiatives continued to ensure that the beneficiaries were taught the necessary skills to continue running businesses independently. Because of their newly acquired skills, the businesses run efficiently, providing a steady income for families. Because of LI intervention, children whose fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters are now employed can attend school, and have a chance for a brighter future

Leadership Initiatives has received help from generous donors, such as yourself, as well as additional help from Microsoft and A3 Foundation. LI would not have such success without benefactors. We would love to have you further involved with Leadership Initiatives.  If you ever wish to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate, have new ideas on how to develop our programs or skype with the people on the ground, please contact me at mbaily@leadershipinitiatives.org. If you wish to become a monthly donor, we offer a special program through GlobalGiving.

If you wish to learn more concerning the progress of Leadership Initiatives, you can subscribe to our newsletter or contact us directly.

Thank you again for your generosity. 2012 was a phenomenal year, and 2013 promises to be even greater.

Sincerely,

Marshall Bailly
