Planning our next Trip

Corail Lamothe, 10,000 gallon tank
Corail Lamothe, 10,000 gallon tank

Happy to report that our recent implementation trip went incredibly well.

We installed two above ground water collection tanks with over 17,000 gallons of combined storage. The tanks will store water from the rain harvesting system (gutters) also installed on this trip.

The rain collection system was installed at the centrally located church/school. The community was very involved in all of the efforts and helped the team overcome many obstacles along the way.

In addition to a successful installation members of the travel team also completed an assessment of the previously installed sand filters and provided a health workshop for community members. Both of these efforts will help us to gauge improved health as a result of the recent improvements.

The Water Committee in the community recently reported that both tanks were almost full!

Looking forward to our next step - installing more sand filters and continued assessment.

Thank you all for your continued support.
