Map of RICH FISHERIES POORFISHER Fisherman in suna District would cutch alot of fish but at the end of the day due t o lack of storange they would see it athrow away price. The middean also took that opportunity to exploit them while knowing they had no where else to take their fish.They would buy at avery cheap price and export at a high pricesthus the fisher folk who were fishing rich fish remained poor for long. In the year 2002 Africanow came in the area and identified the need of storage for fish.The organised the fisher men in groups and gave them cooler boxes,now the fishermen can store their fish and sell their prices and not throw away prices. They are also not exploited by middlemen as they have bargainning power. Read more.

Helping Hand On Drought

Map of HELPING HAND ON DROUGHT The Barclays announced a donation of Ksh 45 million towards Red cross relief activities in Kenya and the region.In support of the Kenayns for Kenya campaign.Barclays will direct Ksh 34 million to the Kenya Red cross. Barclays is directing Ksh 11 million to other Red cross relief efforts across the horn of Africa. Kenya Red cross as been helping alot country also to further support Kenyans for Kenyans.Barclays employees have launched a fundraising campaign aimed at providing both immediate as well as mid to long term solutions in the drought affected areas.
