The general objective of this project is to reconstruct the Primary School and provide a suitable teaching and learning environment for primary school-going children in Kerefay and neighbours.
To construct a four classrooms, office and store building for the primary school. To construct a four-compartment VIP latrine for the school. To provide adequate school furniture (desk, chairs, blackboards and tables). To procure and distribute teaching/learning and other materials. To conduct mass awareness and train teachers and community representatives on HIV Aids issues. To build the capacity of School Management Committees through training.
Is to improve access to basic educational facilities and to provide a conducive teaching/learning atmosphere for both pupils and teachers for communities in the project area.
