The Growing Connection recently paired a school garden in Canada (Holy Cross Academie Internatoinale) with an afterschool agriculture program in Nicaragua (Cusmapa Fabretto Center) so that the childen could share stories about growing food in their TGC gardens. The children decided to video record garden tours for their new partner schools and the first video is in. Check out the Cusmapa Fabretto Center garden at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMr1KMMNzXc

The Growing Connection Website About to Launch

TGC participants around the world have been busily preparing photo galleries, videos, garden records and growing tips in preparation for the new website launch in March 2010.

Thank you to everyone who donated to support a teacher training on the new website. Thanks to you, TGC will begin training schools around the country and the world on how to get connected and start sharing the immense practical knowledge they've accumulated from working in their TGC garden.
