This project seeks to address climate change through workshop, radio talk in the regions for Sierra Leoneans. Teach the consequences of climate change, recommend activities to reduce emissions.
Problems to be addressed here include deforestation as a result of human activity that has helped to promote climate change. Given this situation, pollution from factories, industries, vichles, power house stations, mining companies etc. Due to the foregoing, the consumers which include the population of Sierra Leone estimated at 5,000,000 as per 2004 census will be affected. On a more positive note, the same population of Sierra Leone will benefit from the solution that this project will bring.
The project seeks to address climate change. Climate is already changing and in a very significant ways. this project focuses on consumers education, the third front in the fight against climate change. Consumers come after government and industry.
It is expected that at the end of this project, problems responsible for climate change as deforestation, emissions, pollution etc would have been addressed by education through radio talk and workshops. So the population of Sierra Leone will benefit
