Kim has always had a love for animals. Growing up, she always had dogs. When she bought horses and moved to the country, she quickly learned the need in the community for an animal shelter. She opened Las Lomas K9 Rescue in 2001 and has placed over 1,000 dogs in loving homes. She has a full time job and does this in her spare time with only a few volunteers/foster homes.
Matt supports Kim's compassion for the animal shelter and although Kim runs the shelter, Matt is building the roof and helps with any labor that is needed in the day to day operations of the shelter.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
