K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers is committed to improving the well-being, self-esteem and dignity of at-risk children through the donation of brand new merchandise. K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers receives product donations from generous manufacturers and retailers and then distributes them to some of the neediest children in the nation through a network of over 900 local community social service agencies. For every $10 donation, we distribute $100+ of new products to kids in need.
According to the U.S. Census, in 2013 there were 14.7 million children living in poverty in the U.S. The American Psychological Association reports that impoverished children and teens are at a greater risk for negative outcomes such as poor academic achievement, school dropout, abuse and neglect, behavioral and socio-emotional problems, physical health problems, and developmental delays.
We provide new clothing, shoes, books, toys, baby products and more to kids in need. Since 1985, K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers has distributed over $1.2 billion worth of new merchandise to children and families challenged by poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, low literacy, military family service, major illness, incarcerated family members, and disaster survival.
We currently provide new clothing, shoes, books, toys, and baby supplies to some of the neediest children, individuals, and families in the nation. Our goal is to be able to help 50% of children living in poverty within the next five years. We provide clothing to keep them warm and enable them to go to school, books to help educate them, and toys to make their days happier and enhance their self-esteem.
