Carol Werner - Executive Director, EESI

Carol's leadership in her 25 years at EESI has had a profoundly positive impact on US energy and environment policy. One example: EESI's Congressional briefing on serious health and climate effects of black carbon emissions and opportunities to reduce them, was a key building block to US leadership and the now 21-nation agreement to reduce emissions of soot, methane and hydroflurocarbons

Ned Stowe - Policy Associate, Sustainable Biomass and Energy Program

Ned explores the roles sustainable bioenergy, agriculture & forestry can play in addressing climate, energy, environmental, and economic challenges. Ned writes a weekly newsletter, Sustainable Bioenergy, Farms & Forests (http://www.eesi.org/sbff). He has organized briefings on topics including advanced biofuels, renewable fuel standard, sustainable biomass production and Farm Bill energy programs.

Ellen Larson Vaughan - Policy Director, High Performance Green Buildings
