Map of AGRICULTURE When the government discovered that the land which was suitable in growing maize , many people were being taught on how to prepare that land in order to produce many maize to avid what is call poverty among people of the country. People of that area where being provided with all equipment they may require in growing of maize. Fishing Industry

Map of FISHING INDUSTRY Fishing is a major economic activity for many people around lake Victoria despite this fact storage of the commodity has become a serious problem due to the insufficient of electricity and the high prices of the refrigirators as well as the fishing materials.The Free Fishers Foundation has tried to improve this problem by supplying the fishing Saccos with refrigerators and storage facilities. This has improved fishing which has had a significant growth of the economyin the area and the process has helped improve people's living standard since they get income from the sale of the product.
