Summary
This project will provide clean water to and medical supplies to a Treatment Center in Laos. The center serves over 1000 patients each month suffering with serious health problems.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The Rehabilitation Treatment Centre in Laos provides free health checks to patients, and provides low cost alternative treatments to in-patients and out-patients suffering with disease and sickness.
The clinic is based in a beautiful remote part of Laos, and only uses electricity generated through bio-gas. There is no running water at the centre and they desperately need a filtration system for clean drinking water. The clinic also needs medical equipment.
How will this project solve this problem?
We will install a water filtration system to provide clean drinking water to patients suffering with serious sickness and disease.
We will fund medical equipment and medicines to treat patients
We will fund research into traditional medicines
Potential Long Term Impact
Over 12,000 patients per year from across Laos, who cannot afford to visit hospital, or the hospitals cannot help, will be given cures and helped to recover from serious disease and illness.
Project Message
The Center helps so many people, and your help will save lives. Clean water and medicine supplies are vital for curing patients.
