More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The Rehabilitation Treatment Centre in Laos provides free health checks to patients, and provides low cost alternative treatments to in-patients and out-patients suffering with disease and sickness. The clinic is based in a beautiful remote part of Laos, and only uses electricity generated through bio-gas. There is no running water at the centre and they desperately need a filtration system for clean drinking water. The clinic also needs medical equipment.

By Kelly Stevenson - PR/Communication Manager , December 23, 2009 10:42 AM

SEDA has raised approximately 10% of the project fundraising. We are still urgent more donors to supports the RTC. While RTC is trying to match with GlobalGiving fund to help complete this project within next six months.

RTC is trying to solve the electricity problem how to get the pump work and while bring in the electricity to area.

At this same, the RTC is critically important in Laos because it provides free health checks to patients, as well as low cost alternative treatments to both in-patients and out-patients suffering from disease and sickness.

The RTC is now seeking funding to help reconstruct their current building which has been severely damaged by termites. At this same time we are hoping to have new water treatment equipment set up to RTC within six months.

Thank you for all of your supports and we will up date more ....
