The boys and girls from Turbo´s Children Land have been learning about recycling, reusing and having fun at the same time. Over 60 boys and girls from the Noraml Public School enjoyed an entire day of activities devoted to the promotion of environment friendly daily practices. We hope they will take what they have learned to their homes and share their experiences with all of their family members.
We have also been working on training teenagers in the Children´s land Methodology, so they can continue with the program once our intervention is completed. Participation in these training sessions is voluntary and as you can see from the pictures, most of the volunteers were teenage boys between the ages of 14 and 16.
In the coming months AMICHOCÓ will graduate at least 5 Children´s Land promoters (the project already has adult graduated promoters) and recreational and education activities with the boys and girls will continue as well.
