Angelo Tomedi, MD - Project leader
Dr. Tomedi is a Professor of Family & Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine and the founder and President of Global Health Partnerships. He has over 25 years of experience in international health in Mexico, Guatemala, and Kenya, with an emphasis on maternal and child health and training programs for community health workers.
Nicholas Mutuku - Nurse-in-Charge, Kisesini Community Health Project
After receiving his nursing degree in Kenya, Mr. Mutuku worked in Machakos District Hospital until his assignment to the position of Nurse-in-Charge of the Kisesini Community Health Project, which is a collaboration of the Ministry of Health and Global Health Partnerships. He has received additional training in maternity care and management of childbirth and newborn problems.
