Update on giving options

By Anandhi Yagnaraman | CEO, Catalysts for Social Action

A wholehearted thank you from the children and all of us here at Team Catalysts for Social Action for supporting us through GlobalGiving, especially through the unprecedented times of the pandemic.

Your donations have helped CSA transform the lives of countless vulnerable children in India over the years providing them with quality education, better health, nutrition and pertinent life and work skills to help them get a brighter future.

Unfortunately, our relationship has come to an abrupt end as GlobalGiving cannot disburse funds in India. GlobalGiving through whom you have contributed to our work was placed on the ‘Prior Reference Category’ (PRC) list of donors by the Ministry of Home Affairs, India in 2019. Since then, GlobalGiving has been unable to make disbursements to Indian-banked nonprofit partners, including CSA.

Despite their efforts over two years, the GlobalGiving team has been unable to get off the PRC list or identify an alternative disbursement solution. CSA can assure you that this is not a reflection on us as an organization. We’re a trusted and credible organization working across 4 states in India. GlobalGiving will contact you separately to discuss what happens to the donations you have made but have yet not been disbursed to us. You can reach us at connect@csa.org.in in case you need if further information about Catalysts for Social Action.

Thousands of vulnerable children are still living in India's child care institutions and they need your support. Continue walking with us on this beautiful journey that makes these children's dreams come true!  Support us directly on our website.

In hope and gratitude,

Anandhi Yagnaraman, CEO, Catalysts for Social Action
