Since 1995, Hoops 4 Hope (H4H) has helped thousands of children face the extraordinary challenges of growing up in communities plagued by poverty, HIV/AIDS, and the legacy of apartheid. H4H provides them with the basic tools they need to play team sports, as well as positive role models from within their communities.
• Hoops4Hope operates year-round after- school programs that develop long-term relationships with communities. • Combines the best HIV/AIDS knowledge with community and cultural realities. • Changing the attitudes and behaviors of young people.

H4H provides accurate information and education geared towards encouraging young adults to form healthy relationships and make responsible choices.
Children who were once confined by the clutches of unimaginable poverty, the overwhelming presence of HIV/AIDS, rampant illiteracy, and an unforgiving future are now blessed with new opportunities.
