We are continually working toward supporting girls at PIO. Our work hasn't stopped and we dont turn away the most disadvantaged. Currently we are still working towards our goal to start the dressmaking program to give these girls a shot at life with an income earning skill. PIO continues to run daily programs and offers support to some of our older students by supporting their costs in secondary school.
We recently released our 2013 profile video. Please have a look and see some of the faces that PIO serves on a daily basis. There are some shots of our dressmaking program.
Thank you to our generous donors for contributing to our work to change the life of a girl in Cambodia. Our project aims to provide vocational training to girls who we identify as needing the assistance and will benefit from the training.
We are still fundraising to operate our project as we had planned. We are short of our goal to fully implement this program and are working to raise the funds required. Our goal is $60,000, however we can implement in stages if we reach a goal of $15,000 and begin to offer one Beauty Salon course for 15 girls in our Borey Santhipheap II center.
We are confident that we will reach our goal, We are committed to these girls and that we can change their life. Will you help?
