March 25th 2013…a single day where Chain of Hope outreach volunteers set out to do what they do. On this day, 17 households were visited to make sure the families had what they needed and that the animals were safe and healthy. Three new households were visited because they saw the animals were not. Two of those dogs were taken off heavy chains and provided with light weight cables. In all, 28 dogs and 13 cats were supported. The day started out at 24 degrees, with packed snow on the ground. Seven dog houses were filled with insulating hay, 26 animals were given food, ice was knocked out of water dishes and filled with fresh water. Arrangements were made for seven animals to be brought in to be spayed or neutered. All that in just one single day of outreach…and there will be 364 more like it.
Without your support this could not happen. Your generosity keeps us out there every day, helping, saving, countless animals.
