Summary
Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) has already provided Eid Gifts on the last Eid in September. Now with the next Eid approaching in November, FMH plans again to provide Eid packages in Dera Ghazi Khan.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Eid is a Muslim festival that is celebrated all over the world. The coming Eid will once again be celebrated at a time when a vast majority of the flood affected are still homeless and need our support to move on. In this time of sheer distress and desperation Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) wants to distribute Eid Packages amongst the flood affected families and celebrate Eid together with them so as to let them know that we stand together with them in their difficult times
How will this project solve this problem?
This project aims to distribute Eid Packages containing essentials for the Eid Day.This includes food items, utensils, clothing, shoes, toys for the children, and basic toiletries for a family of 6 that will help them celebrate the much awaited Eid.
Potential Long Term Impact
We will provide 1000 Eid Packages to the flood affected families in District Dera Ghazi Khan this time. This will allow them to celebrate Eid and to know that the world stands together with them in their times of grief and that they are not alone!
