Cambodian Children's Fund sends sincere gratitude to all ofour supporters!
With the kind help of our GlobalGiving donors we haveachieved our goal of securing a safe and reliable way for the children of CCFto arrive at school and receive life changing education. We have recentlyreceived a generous contribution from an Australian donor giving us the abilityto purchase one school bus, therefore, we are deactivating this project.
We still need three more school buses to transport all of the children to school safely. If you would like to continue donating to this cause please visit our Buy a Bus page directly on our website.
CCF would love to stay connected! Feel free to contact us directly firstname.lastname@example.org and please like us on Facebook, as we will beposting pictures and updates on the success of the CCF Buy a Bus Project!
Everyone's kindness and generosity has made an incredibledifference in the lives of all the children we serve.
Cambodian Children's Fund
Thank you all for your generous support! To date we have raised $750, all of which will be going toward the purchase of a school bus. As many of you know, enrollment at CCF has increased exponentially and continues to grow at a rapid pace. To be precise, our numbers have gone from 45 students in 2006 to over 1,500 students today. For anyone doing the math in their head, that's over thirty times more students than we had in 2006.
While we take pride in those statistics, we recognize the importance of ensuring all of our students are given equal opportunities for success. After all, our primary goal is to transform Cambodia's most impoverished children into tomorrow's leaders. In order to do that, we must guarantee that every student accepted to our programs has a safe and reliable mode of transportation to and from school. The number one reason students drop out of our programs is a lack of transportation. We are doing our best to address this issue before it affects any more of the children and families that we hold so dear. With your continued support and generosity we are confident that every child's needs will be met.
We thank you again for paving the road to our student's success!
Project Reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you will get an e-mail when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports via e-mail without donating or by subscribing to this project's RSS feed.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
