Vattana with her scholarship certificate!

From our family to yours, we send the warmest wishes for a happy holiday season!  This year,on GlobalGiving, CCEdFund is participating in Gifts for Good as a way to continue supporting our students and to help you in finding unique and beautiful gifts for your loved ones.  Thank you for your support again this year!  Take a peek at our Gifts for Good page:

CCEdFund provides scholarships for impoverished and orphaned Cambodian students to attend exceptional schools in their communities.  In five years, from two initial students, CCEdFund now supports twenty-two amibitious students as they seek to rebuild their country through education. Your support is changing their lives!

One of CCEdFund's new students, Vattana, in Siem Reap is profiled below.
Vattana is 13 years old and was abandoned by her father after her mother passed away in a boating accident when Vattana was an infant.  However, she is incredibly resilient and determined to help others as a doctor and so she has pursued her studies with great passion. CCEdFund is thrilled to help her study in both Khmer and English at two exceptional schools.   According to her nomination: "Vattana is very kind, clever and friendly and punctual.  She studies hard. She always helps to look after her brothers and sisters. She respects people and attends activities in Sunrise. She is talented in Khmer traditional dancing."

We look forward to sharing her academic updates with you as the year progresses. In the meantime, we wish you all the best for a happy end-of-year holiday season!

Warm wishes,
