Hello to all our donors, sponsors, and constituents. It has been a great summer for Casting 4 A Cure, as we held our 6th annual C4C event in Steamboat CO, our 5th annual event in Victor, ID, and our 3rd C4C event at the Bar Z Ranch outside of Bozeman.
All in all, over 110 people participated in the events, our largest number of participants to date. We raised some great awareness as we had many newcomers to our Victor ID event. They all walked away with a better understanding of the challenges that face a little girl who suffers from Rett, as well as what the families are up against. They were also enlightened to the amazing progress we are making in terms of research and our funding of the SCOUT Program sponsored by the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. The SCOUT Program will be screening pre-approved FDA drugs for positive reactions for Rett Syndrome symptoms. We are very excited about this program as if successful, it will substantially speed up the process of bringing drugs to market for Rett.
We have not closed the book on 2013 abnd have some more fundraising events planned, but we are confident tat we will be able to donate $70,000 to The International Rett Syndrome Foundation this year.
As Rett Syndrome Awareness Month is coming up in October, please tell your friends and family about Casting 4 A Cure and if they would like to help us achieve our goals of turning Research to Reality, then please send them to www.casting4acure.com and they can make a donation there.
Thanks so much for your support of Casting 4 A Cure!
