Tuberculosis is a killer disease that require agent and proper medical attention in who affected out due to lack of proper knowledge may people have fallen prey to the disease thus leading to the loss of life of people from different parts of the country due to the disease and lack of proper medication and awareness in the region and mostly in the lamu region. This led to the ministry of health launching a program to educate the people the course symptoms of the disease and how to treat the disease .this has led to prevention of a large number of life of people that could have been saved. Know Your Status

For a long time people of kibera were afraid of knowing their status.Some took it as awkward to visit voluntary counseling centers.Some feared of the aftermath-repercussions of them being found guilty.A group/organization known as CDC developed a door to door programme of testing people.Through this programm many people including I were able to know there HIV status.it also helped as people were now free from stigma and more important was fear of being known to be HIV positive.It also shaped the life of many people as they were able to know their status weather positive or negative and were now able to lead a healthy life. Life Protection Is Needed

KAYUNGA YOUTH CENTRE This is an organisation which has tried to help in the decrease of HIV/AIDS in Uganda. This organisation tried to them who control and how to avoid this disease. There were four people who were loving one another and they didn't mind abaut their lives. Fortunately, this organisation came to their area and taught them in a humble way. Then they listened and they even tested their blood which all negative . So they agreed and changed their bad behavior into a good behavior which led them to protect their lives. Read more.
