GlobalGiving's Storytelling Project

We're collecting stories from the actual people who benefit from the projects on GlobalGiving to identify problems and potential solutions. Here are some of the stories that we've collected from communities that have benefited from projects similar to this one. Learn more.

Note: These stories talk about the same issues that this project addresses, but are not necessarily about this specific project.

Fornication

By a male, 22-30 years old, in Nairobi, Kenya
Map of FORNICATION Both small girls and boys these days involve in irresponsible sexual behaviour and poverty is the factor that has led to this irresponsible behaviour. Some girls were after money because they do not have enough items they require as girls. This forces them to practice this bad habit. Even some of the parents were careless and they accepted what their children bring into the house, they just appreciate them and congratulate them and this is a terrible story parents should know where the things are coming from.
