Addressing Domestic Violence Across the Globe
The collaborative mini-documentary raising awareness about the effects of domestic violence around the world has come a long way in the past few months. The young people from Bonaire, Uruguay, Egypt and Kenya have been dilignetly working on putting together the different aspects for the documentary - from script writing, to filming, combining different scenes and editing it all into one main video. The documentary is scheduled to be exhibited within the month of April.
Creating with Purpose
The youth from Guatemala are continuously working on media projects that promote civic engagement and peaceful communities through the use of ICTs. The media projects the youth are working on continues to expand as they raise awareness throughout their communities. The scope of the projects have been expanding and is becoming more integrated into community life.

Sites in Mexico and Guatemala continue to work with young indigenous women artisans from rural areas continue to deepen their understanding of art & technology as a way to increase their employability and break the cycle of poverty. These young indigenous woman continue to be exposed to the software training, materials, and resources they require to integrate themselves into the creativity sectors of the job market.
