Building a Health Centre for 40 Villages in Kenya

Hope Mission Centre plans to build a health centre to provide free medication for the community members who are from poor backgrounds in Kisii and access health facilities to all members of the community.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

This is a remote area, most people when they get sick , they just die at home as most health centres are distant in urban areas whereby these people cannot afford to go there. Some women always give birth on their way to those distant health centres or give birth at home, sometimes they die because of lack of proper medication.

How will this project solve this problem?

This health centre will provide them with free medical services and access all the people within the community and outside the community. People will die and more particularly women will give birth more easily and save the lives of children.

Potential Long Term Impact

The project will provide free medical services to a bout 20,000 both women, men and children allowing them to improve their mortality rate thus increasing in number and forming the labour force which will improve the agricultural economy within the community.
