Building the aquaponics system
Building the aquaponics system

Great news fans of Aquaponic farming. We begin phase one of construction on our youth educational aquaponics training center on July 22 - July 23 2011. Mr. Will Allen and the Growing Power staff will be onsite at the Brooklyn Rescue Mission in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn leading workshops and helping community members learn more about sustainable urban agriculture and aquaponic farming methods. We will also be hosting other exciting events to educate the community on the Good Food Revolution and continue to raise funds to support or training center during the weekend of July 21 - 23. Please visit our website for more information concerning these great Brooklyn Rescue Mission events.
