Elizabeth came to Comalapa as a volunteer in 2005 and was smitten with the inspiration and dedication that she observed in the Long Way Home staff and volunteers. She observed young people melding politics, social awareness and grass-roots change on an international level. She has worked tirelessly to assist the effort since.
