I am guessing you do not know. :) You should google and see -- because all of Kranti is going to Bhutan for our Diwali break! (This is like winter break for many of you, 3 weeks.) Bhutan is between India and China and it is covered with national parks and Himalaya mountains. We will be trekking, meditating and visiting 3 NGOs in Bhutan. We are very excited, but it is very far away and we will travel 3 days just to reach!
There is not very much update on our own home - but we built a new library and are still working to organize it because we have so many books. We also had three birthdays since last time I wrote, and we have started many new activities, including acting classes, dance movement therapy, everything happens in our small, small flat right now and even our teachers complain our home is too small. :)
Other big news is that a local tv channel did a short documentary on Kranti and that October 11 was "International Day of the Girl Child" so Kranti's girls got to give speeches in three places. Also DNA newspaper wrote about Kranti. It was my favourite article anyone wrote about Kranti because she talked about us, each girl, not just Kranti as a place. You can read it below.
Last thing -- next time I write, we might have some very, very, very exciting news about our home! November and December are very busy months, we Revolutionaries are giving speeches, traveling to trainings and internships and also performinng in Mumbai's biggest theatre! We are very excited, and I think maybe these two busy months will help us reach someone who can help with a home. I will of course keep you updated! :) Happy Diwali to all of you! We will write after Bhutan!
