Carol has a background in secondary education and refugee resettlement. Her interest and focus is on equal access to education for girls, as well as vocational and adult education. For the past 6years she has led annual monitoring /working trips to the three PES village school sites and is currently planning the 2012 trip.
Daniel came to the US in 2001 as a "Lost Boy of Sudan". Daniel became a United States citizen in 2007 and reunited with his family in South Sudan by PES in 2008. Daniel has returned to Sudan as the PES Sudan Program Director to over see and manage the programs and projects in 4 schools supported by PES in collaboration with the village local leaders.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
