This project provides humanitarian aid and education to Ugandan disadvantaged children. They are also trained in music and dance. With healing and artistic skills acquired, they become artists and leaders
Due to the conflict in the north, the HIV/AIDS scourge and poverty, over 2.3 million children in Uganda are orphaned, many lacking proper nourishment and the financial ability to attend school. In poverty, children are the hardest hit as they are often forced to sacrifice education for work in order to survive. Too often, they end up on streets and engaged in criminal acts, further diminishng their future and crippling the country's economic viability.
We provide shelter, food, medical care, counseling and education. Also, children gain arts training, leadership and job skills training for their futures. They perform for communities, spreading hope and awareness of their life struggles in Uganda.
Children's lives will be reclaimed and skills acquired in music and dance will lead to a life of self-reliance. Our work will empower children with leadership skills aiming at creating positive social impacts for the next generation of Ugandans.
