Branco Sekalegga - Executive Director
Has taught at Makerere University and has experience in working with the children and communities. He has travelled internationally as a performer and as an instructor fostering international and cultural relationships. Using leadership, instruction, performance skills, he is passionate to make a positive change in the lives of the Bitone children - to foster peace and development in Uganda.
Hassan Kayemba - Managing Director
A graduate in dance and music at Makerere University, he has won recognition as an excellent trainer of art in schools and community. Working with Plan International on children's-centered issues got him experience to work with children. His international travels as a performer extended his desire to help suffering children. He is also a composer of African music styles, a play Wright and a poet.
Sarah Heddon - Director, International Bitone Programs
Sarah has been working with Bitone since 2005 a founder of Albion College Bitone Project in support of Bitone Center in Kampala. Since2007 after college she has studied and worked in East Africa, collaborating with a wide range of local and international musicians, artists, and festival organizations. Currently resides in Oakland, CA and works with the International Rescue Committee in San Jose.
