Provide Bicycles to Children in Rural Ghana particularly in the Cocoa growing areas are deprived of good quality education. The school children have to walk long distances to reach nearby schools.
We have engaged a re-cycling Firm is Switzerland to provide 20 foot container of 500 Bicycles for the distant school children. Some of the school children are as young as 5 years and before they reach their schools, it is too late and already tired. We need USD 15,000.00 to acquire the Bicycles and get them to Ghana for distribution.
ACRO Ghana is already in sports as a means of supporting the capacity developments of these deprived children. Football is a communicable game everybody understands. Children are given Bicycles sports tool as well as transport to school.
It is expected that about 400 Junior Secondary School pupils in 12 communities would have improved their examinations pass rate over the years and the very young ones would take delight in going to school.
