Widowed Woman

Map of Widowed woman A widowed woman in Kimimini tried to fight for the land of her husband in order to take her children to school in vain.After the brothers of the husband had taken the land the mothers children one in uniform two and the other in primary were forced to move out of school. After a long search the mother of this children managed to reach an organization which she gave them her story and what had happened to her and how her children are suffering.The organization assisted her to arrange the land papers which were legal and filed a case in court.the widowed mother got her rights. She sold part of the land which she paid school fees for her children who are now back in school and doing well.the remaining land has been cultivated by the mother for the future benefit of the children. Indeginous Vegetables And Seeds For Livelihood Improvement

Map of Indeginous vegetables and seeds for Livelihood improvement I once used to come home soliciting for vegetables to go prepare some meal for my family members. It kept on worrying where next i will go beg. But now though a friend I came to know about indeginous vegetable project with different varieties . These varieties include Black night shade,spider plant crocolaria,cow peace. Growing thse crops and keeping seeds has changed my life completely. I am able to feed my family. My family members are healthier and happier. We are able to on this project in a family each member with a role because we know it is providing for our needs. We have bought two sheep each has brought a new born. We plan to buy a dairy cow.. I have attended exhibitions exposing what i do and ope many people who learnt are doing the same. Read more.

Growth In The Stomach

Map of Growth in the stomach Another woman in Sinyereri was suffering but she did not know what was the problem. She was seeing her stomach growing big sometimes and having frequent bleeding but not menstruation. One time she told my mother about this issue and my mother advice her to and see the doctor. She went immediately, she was checked and noted to have growth in the stomach. She was given some medicine to use for a while and given date to go for operation for that growth to be removed. She looked for money and went for operation. She was treated and recover. Now she is continuing well. Read more.

Heart Problems Among Children

Map of HEART PROBLEMS AMONG CHILDREN A boy i know has been having a heart problem which affects his physical well being and which leads to oedema.He can not be in school full time as many of the times he is sick.He leaves with a single parent who does not have the finances to see him through an operation. The mother sent a plea to all the churches around asking for assistance financially for him to undergo an operation. Presybyterian church East Africa (Geoffrey Gathu Memorial Church)held a small fundraising among which they gave the mother for the operation. Read more.

Blessed Hands

Map of Blessed hands A story is told of a young intelligent and hardworking boy known as Lewis is orphaned half orphaned at a very tender age of twelve years being left with a mother who is financially handcapped and suffering of shock. Apparently the stroke hits in such away that half the body is paralysed and totally dead. This matches her rodden with no way of providing for eight year old daughter and Lewis. It so happens that the father was polygamous with Lewis mother being second wife meaning that she was illigible to all his proprly the young family is therefore negleted and chased away from home. The boy being intelligent does his class eight KCSE and passes exclusively. Hailing from a poo background he is unable to join form one and hetherefore decides to stay home withhis good months. Als good effort never go wasted. He is noticed by satellite Academy two years later and so decides to repeat and luckly passes with 413 marks and joins starehe Boys center under the full help of Mr. George Wandera a good well wisher. Lack Of Food

Map of LACK OF FOOD I really thank God because of people in Westrn province.God has given us everything a hen need to them fit.We are able to plant and have good harvest which is not common in other parts of our country.But because we lack ability on how to use what we have we end up selling what we have and at the end of the day we start suffering for lack of food.We have to change our way of life because other people are not in a position to plant anything they have no rain,their lands are not fertile and many other condition that are not easy to go through. Kiprops Success

Map of KIPROPS SUCCESS Kano is know for its largest fish production,Mr Kiptop is a maasai who happened to be staying in the midst of the lous in Kano.He saw whites who were caring to visit the place and so he found it.He constructed a fish pond just next to the lake so that the peoples whites who were coming could see it have a better scene for the ares by providing the place wit foreign exchange.Mr.Kiptop decided to come up with the fish pond,but to his good lack and for the fate of the area residence,there area began to develop,both economically and financially due to Mr.Kiprop's work and attribute because he was patriotic to his country and area.
