498Pegnant women in the community of lukume had to travel long distances to access basic health of their infants.The long distances of health facilities was to blame for infant deaths,mothers who would rather give birth at home through untrained persons that later brought complications after birth .Due to this the malaria CDF built a health facility that would deal with both anti-natal and post-natal care for the the mothers and their babies.An ambulance which was donated by well wishers will also help in bringing the mothers to the hospital.
