Ina is currently working on women's empowerment projects for BARKA. On her trip to Burkina Faso in March 2008, she initiated BARKA’s first micro-loan program to a collective of 87 women to create sustainable businesses.
This current water project is based on Ina's conversations with women of La Petite. They unanimously told her the most important issue for BARKA to address first was clean water.
