October 19 results

Thanks to the generosity of 18 donors and matching funds from the Safer World Fund (50%) and Global Giving (30%), we raised a total of $4,600 on October 19. These contributions also helped us get a lot closer to our goal of being featured on The Girl Effect's fundraising page at GlobalGiving, and receiving a share of all donations made to The Girl Effect for a full year.

The Safer World Fund match and Girl Effect contest continues. Please tell others when you have the chance.

With your help, we've made much progress at the school since its dedication in May. Among other things, we bought the materials for the desks and expect them to be completed by the end of October. As of the date of this report, we still need about $23,000 to complete the work we have planned. Please help if you can!

Ayni Education International has rebuilt its website. Check it out a the link below!

Given the current situation in Afghanistan, Ayni is more commited than ever to supporting this school. Thank you so much for your interest and support.
