There are twenty (20) ex-child slaves currently awaiting enrolment into apprenticeship training, as reported in the October report, however due to the lack of sufficient funds, this activity has not yet been undertaken. Thus, they will be enrolled when funds are made available.
In view of this, RFG took the opportunity to undertake a monitoring of the project and results obtained reveal that except for some petty challenges, everything is unfolding smoothly.
The challenges recorded during the monitoring included ill health affecting one girl and a boy who has not reported to work after the Christmas break. Steps are been taken to address these challenges.
