Oklahoma Wants to Bring Horse Slaughter To Their State
By Jo Deibel | Project Leader
We are working hard to get a board up in Oklahoma and several other states, but our concentration at this time is Oklahoma.
With the recent developments and new threats to horses in Oklahoma, Angel Acres is striving to raise awareness in the state with strategically placed billboards and updated information on the billboards companion website:
www.stopslaughteringus.com
If you are not aware, recent passage of legislation would allow the resumption of horse slaughter in the USA. Our billboard awareness campaign is more important than ever.
Spread the word that horse slaughter is NOT humane euthanasia, today!
Thank you for being a part of our awareness efforts.

3 New Anti Horse Slaughter Boards Going Up!
By Jo Deibel | Project Leader
Quick update!
We have 2 more anti horse slaughter billboards going up in Oregon and one going up in British Columbia!
The billboard campaign is still working its way across the nation and into Canada.
The Canadian board will be the third Angel Acres Anti Horse Slaughter billboard to be erected in a Canadian Province...where roughly 60,000 American horses are slaughtered each year.
The Stop Slaughtering Us website hits continue to grow and we will continue working hard to raise awareness that horse slaughter is NOT humane euthanasia and that no horse deserves to be brutaly slaughtered to feed foreign diners.

New Boards, But a Slow Down...
By Jo Deibel | Project Leader

Canada Billboard in Action
Time for an update!
4 New boards are going up this month!
One in Canada (our second one), two in New York State (where they're sure to gather some attention) and one in Oregon (where some folks are trying to open up a horse slaughter plant back on US soil).
While these 4 sponsored boards will be going up this month (July, 2012) the overall donations towards the campaigns have waned. We do not have much new to report on the billboard front but hope to re-energize the campaign to continue our trek through the USA with our anti horse slaughter billboards.
While we continue to hope that the billboard fairy will make a large donation to help us get boards up in the remaining 18 states where we don't have them yet, we will keep plugging away and raising funds and raising about the horrors of horse slaughter awareness via our anti horse slaughter billboard campaign and any and all outlets we can.
Thanks so much for being a part of our awareness efforts.
