Provide Secondary Education For 5 Girls in Uganda

Chipping away at access to education

Your donations are making a difference!!  We have raised enough funds to pay for one girl to go to one semester of secondary school.  It might not seem impressive to you but think of the difference it will make to her.  She may have come from a small village where most people never attended upper primary school never mind the final years of secondary school that she is attending.  Instead of becoming a subsistence farmer - who is living week to week with no extra money to care for family or emergencies - she will be prepared for a career.  For a paying job that requires expertise and training.

So your donation will have a broad-reaching effect.  By providing education, you are changing the future for many people.  Not only for one girl, but for her family and her future children.  And you may inspire the people around her to change their lives too.

At Social Promise, our campaign to send these girls to school is broad-reaching.  Global Giving is a significant part of it but rest assured that we are working every angle to make sure as many children as possible have access to education.

Thank you for making a difference.

Keep inspiring!
